Listening to muffled footsteps of those brushing,
Reaching grasses
Seeing the last letters of my name, faded and shy…
Imagining us clasping hands in holiday
Imagining you growing older,
Somehow more beautiful,
Surrounded by your children and children’s children
The midnight blue of your calmness like evening
Chamomile, peppermint.
Eyes as morning rosewater
I’m shrinking into your gown, tearing the pink linen
Of your belly, burying into your abdomen, and
Sewing the seam of your skin
This album is haunting, beautiful, and cathartic. One of the best post-black metal albums out there. I bought a cd on Discogs, but needed the vinyl. Доберман Сатз
I love the light and shade between Bryan's dirty and Emma's forlorn vocals. There are so many layers to this recording that are driven home through contrast. Plus the riffs are brilliant and get me moving. I can't stop listening to Thou and Emma in general lately. spaceman2250

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
